Main Quest Line

Here’s the recommended build guide for Liu Shiba in Hero’s Adventure: Road to Passion.

Author Note

This setup is a solid framework for mid to late game; adapt based on your team role, manual availability, and chosen weapon style (long/spear).

Stat Allocation

As a hunter character, Liu Shiba uses the spear/long weapon style (Long proficiency: 25 at base). His role can flex between damage dealer and utility (via beast taming), so the stat priorities below reflect a damage-oriented spearman with utility.

StatRoleAllocation
STRAttack power, damage with spear35–40%
DEXSpeed, action priority, accuracy25–30%
CONDurability (frontline exposure15–20%
LUKCrits, counters, extra hits5–10%
INTMinimal (unless you lean to pet utility0–5%
Tips

If you prioritize him more for beast taming/utility rather than spear DPS, reduce STR and boost DEX/CON for better turn speed and survivability.

External

  • Early Game: Amateurish Strike (default fist manual when recruited)
  • Mid–Late Game Upgrades:
    • Omnipotent Hand – balanced, high crit scaling
    • Taichi Fist – counter-focused, fluid combat rhythm
    • Abandoned Temple Fist – strong single-target burst
    • Frostfall Fist Technique – Yin-type control with chill effect
    • Bitter Joy Finger Technique – balanced offensive scaling
Tips

Prioritize fast-acting fist styles that benefit from STR and DEX synergy and fit her close-range playstyle.

Internal

Boost her attack and resilience, while improving Spirit efficiency for extended fights.

Recommended Internals:

  • Glorious Era — increases attack and crit rate
  • Forging Golden Body — adds resilience and defense
  • Sigh Method or Ye Family Technique — choose between offensive or defensive bias
  • Dragon Tiger Manual — strong balanced internal
  • Cold Yin Energy — reduces enemy Spirit and enhances debuff playstyle
Manual Combination

When fusing manuals at the homestead, mix a fast fist-style external with crit/damage internals for her DPS hybrid, or a resilience-focused internal for tank-support flexibility.

Passive Skill Tree

PathFocusEffect
FireOffenseBoosts attack and critical rate
WindSpeedImproves action speed and evasion
MountainDefenseAdds HP and resistance to control effects
Thunder (optional)BurstEnhances crit damage and first-strike advantage

Suggested Path:
Start with Mountain for survivability → transition into Wind for speed → finish in Fire for offense.
For DPS build, emphasize Fire/Wind; for support durability, emphasize Mountain/Wind.

Role and Playstyle

  • Support DPS Hybrid:
Hua Siniang’s Gentle Care grants –10% damage taken to allies within 2 tiles, while Icy Glare makes enemies within 2 tiles take +10% more damage.
This dual aura makes her incredibly valuable when positioned between your frontline and enemies.

  • Positioning Tip:
Keep her close to both allies and enemies to maximize both buffs simultaneously.

  • DPS Variation:
If built for offense, focus on STR-heavy manuals and crit accessories. If built for support, prioritize DEX, Spirit sustain, and evasion.
